FirmGated limits repeated requests so one broken alert, script loop, or bad login attempt does not create avoidable account risk.
Current alert limits
FirmGated limits requests where runaway loops or abuse could cause problems. These are platform limits — not your broker's limits.

| Strategy alert intake | 30 requests per minute per IP | Extra alerts are held back so one runaway script cannot flood the gate. |
| Target-Lock and safeguard checks | 60 requests per minute per IP | Requests are rejected before account rules or route state can change. |
| Reset-password requests | 5 requests per minute per IP | Reset emails are throttled to reduce abuse. |
| Sign-in lockout control | 10 failed attempts | Non-owner accounts lock for 15 minutes after repeated failed attempts. |
Best practice
Send one clean alert per trade decision. Do not fire multiple alerts for the same action.
